We have been raised and educated to become a race of problem solvers. At an early age, our science and math teachers have taught us how to identify various problems and likewise how to solve them. But sometimes in a world that puts a lot of premium on problem solving; we grow up with the tendency to focus on what is wrong, what is bad, and what is ugly. Just read the headlines. Problems sells newspapers and TV, and we do love buying it. We have trapped ourselves in never ending cycle of problem solving. And when you focus too much on problems; you tend to loose track of the opportunities that come with it, which is a classic case of seeing the glass as half empty.
